Why are your chocolates so lovely?

Thank you! We have spent 30 years traveling Europe and meeting some of the world’s finest chocolatiers – and best of all, tasting their chocolates! Our gift boxes are a careful selection of what we consider to be their very best offerings. We are able to combine flavours from different chocolatiers in our selections, creating the best of the best, and making them a truly delicious experience. You will find no nasty preservatives or artificial ingredients in any of our chocolates and mostly we limit our range to a three month best before date because we firmly believe fresh chocolates tastes best. But don’t just take our word for it! Our equally lovely customers have taken the time to review our products independently on Feefo, for better and for worse ( we try to use the worse to improve wherever we can ).

How should I store my delicious chocolates?

Chocolates should ideally be kept somewhere cool and dry. Fridges are not suitable to store chocolates in as they cause condensation, which in turn can cause the chocolates to bloom. Whilst this in no way makes the chocolates inedible, it can affect the taste and look of the chocolates.

 

What are your delivery options?

We offer free standard UK delivery on all deliveries over £12. This is sent by Royal Mail. Please note that our free delivery service is great value but is not tracked or time specific. If you would rather place an order that we can track, or for delivery on a particular day our other delivery options are laid out here.

 

Do you deliver abroad?

We do deliver abroad and delivery costs and information can be found here. Please note that once the packages leave the UK we are in the hands of customs, and the local postage service, which can cause delays. We are also not able to track items sent abroad. Please also take the destination’s temperature into account when sending chocolates abroad.

 

Can I pick a later dispatch date?

Absolutely. On checkout you can either leave the dispatch date as the same or following day, or you can select a later date. Please note that this is the date your order will LEAVE us, not the delivery date.

 

Can I send gifts to more than one address?

Absolutely! Simply add your delivery addresses, and then allocate the correct address to each gift using the drop down menu (highlighted in red). If you have more than 5 addresses, simply write 'ADDRESSES E-MAILED' in the 'order instructions/Comments' box, and email your recipient addresses along with your order number to info@ameliechocolat.co.uk and let us take care of the rest.

 

Can I change or cancel an order?

We try to send out any orders that have come to us by 2pm the very same day, unless otherwise specified. If we have already dispatched your order we are not able to make any changes. If you contact us and we still have your order we will do our very best to make any necessary changes, or cancel your order. If you require any changes to be made it is best to contact us by phone so you can be sure of our immediate attention.

 

Do you have options for special dietary requirements?

Our chocolates are not prepared in segregated areas and therefore are not suitable for anyone with severe allergies. We do offer Gluten Free, Alcohol Free, and Vegetarian ranges.

 

Will my order contain an invoice?

As we send so many gifts out we never include any invoices or price tags. If you require an invoice please e-mail us at info@ameliechocolat.co.uk.

 

Can I send a message with my gift?

Yes! Complimentary message cards are included with all of our beautiful chocolate boxes. To make your gift extra special, please leave us a gift message to include with your order on checkout.

 

How do your Chocolate Points work?

Our chocolate points are a great way of saving up for a treat for yourself after spoiling loved ones, or might make up part of your end of year Christmas shop! You earn a Chocolate Point for every £1 that you spend with us.

 

Do you have shops?

In our about us section you can read all about 12 Sicilian Avenue, which is where our company was born. Sadly we closed the doors 15 years ago, but are thrilled to be able to offer an even bigger selection of chocolates online.

 

My order is a gift - can you send the chocolates in a blank box so they come as a surprise?

Our protective postage boxes are kept blank for this purpose. However, we do include small sender details on the back, and the delivery companies may include our name elsewhere on the box.

 

Do you offer corporate discounts?

Our generous corporate order offers are laid out here. We are very pleased to supply many leading UK businesses with delicious gifts for clients and staff, with personalised packaging options available.
