Cerise: rich and boozy, a cherry soaked in kirsch on a bed of rich praline and enrobed with velvety dark chocolate. Excellent with a cup of black coffee or a glass of red wine!
Coffee Chocolate Drops: made in Provence by the Doucet family. Droplets of dark chocolate are double coated with a praline of dark & milk chocolate and infused with strong French coffee - aromatic, intense and a moreish hit!
Raspberry Chilli Truffle: the first of two superb German truffles in your selection. The Schroder family have been making truffles for 80 years and they make them with passion! Using only criollo cocoa beans, otherwise know as the 'Prince of Cocoas', these truffles are so good, we'll be introducing you to two new flavours each month. Our first choice is an exquisite melt-in-the-mouth ganache of framboise, enrobed with a thin shell of white chocolate & a light dusting of raspberry sugar ... not forgetting the hot kick of chilli right at the end - quite sensational!
Champagne Truffle: our second choice to introduce you to our fantastic truffles is Mr Schroder's Marc de Champagne truffle. Once you have tried these, you will never settle for anything less. A soft, delicate ganache of champagne enrobed with a thin shell of lightly dusted milk chocolate. Allow the ganache to melt on your tongue, and feel the explosion of exquisite flavours.
Hazelino: No true selection of continental chocolates would be complete without a traditional Belgian praline and over the months, you will have an opportunity to explore the subtle differences and trademark tastes of our chocolatiers pralines. Our choice for this month comes from Chocolaterie Ickx in Belgium and is one of our all time favourites. Two whole hazenuts complement the rich nutty centre of this delicious chocolate, entirely enrobed with meltingly smooth milk chocolate.
